About the Course

Leadership and Motivation is specifically for supervisors who are responsible for jobsite work tasks on a construction project. Leadership and Motivation will teach the value of effective supervision of workers and improve the construction supervisor’s ability to lead and motivate others on the jobsite.

The highly collaborative virtual program provides instruction via Zoom and is best suited for anyone on a construction jobsite in a supervisory role – from the new supervisor or foreman to the experienced superintendent who is looking to become a more effective manager of people, time, equipment and materials.

This course is the first of 6 courses in the Field Leadership and Supervisory Training Program (STP); a construction-specific training curriculum developed, updated and field-tested by and for contractors. Supervisory skill—or the lack of it—directly affects every company’s bottom line. You make your money in the field, and STP can help you improve your organization’s bottom line.

Cancellation Policy: A full refund will be given to cancellations made 14 calendar days before the class kick-off. After such time, no refunds will be given. Replacements are acceptable and must be submitted via email to rockkie.dunton[@]agc.org.

AGC reserves the right to cancel programs up to 10 days before the start date if a minimum number of attendees is not met.
